Privacy
My Dress Finder stores a random session identifier in your browser's session storage so aggregate searches and outbound clicks can be measured. It expires with the browser session and is not used to identify you personally.
First-party product analytics
Our Cloudflare D1 database records search text and selected filters, anonymous session and search identifiers, result counts, product or checkout clicks, destination country, and browser language. This detailed data helps us evaluate search quality and is not sent to Google.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It measures page views, acquisition, device information, approximate geography, and privacy-safe funnel events. We do not send Google raw search text, search IDs, product or variant IDs, or merchant domains. Google may set first-party analytics cookies after consent.
Your choice is stored in local storage. You can change or withdraw it at any time through “Analytics choices” in the footer; declining removes the Google Analytics cookies we set where the browser permits.
Retention
Raw first-party event data is automatically deleted after the configured retention period, currently 90 days. Google Analytics data follows the retention controls configured for the GA4 property. Shopify product result payloads and product images are not stored in My Dress Finder's database.
Merchants and product images
Product images load directly from merchant or content-delivery hosts rather than from My Dress Finder. Those hosts receive the network information needed to deliver the image. My Dress Finder suppresses the page referrer on image requests. When you follow a product or checkout link, the destination merchant's privacy policy applies.
